Seize the Battlefield

The battle system rewards tactical control of the battlefield itself. Using a special action, you can attempt to Seize the Battlefield, granting you the priority for the next round. This not only gives you the initiative but also often comes with an added bonus, like increased Energy or a unique effect that persists into the next turn.

Claiming Priority

The player who controls the battlefield sets the tone for the next round, deciding whether to go on the offensive or focus on defense. Knowing when to seize priority—and when to force your opponent to take it—is a key element of high-level play.
